Leaving the Nest

Hey, I'm back. I had a wonderful trip, and despite how much I have to tell you all, I have to cut this post short because I'm still recovering from my trip and I have to wake up early tomorrow to paint my new place. It might take some time to get an internet provider to hook us up after we've moved in. So, worst case scenario, there may not be a regular update for a week or two, best case scenario, we won't even miss a beat. Either way I'm going to try to post journal comics to keep you updated on our progress and maybe even tell you a little about my cabin trip. Wish us luck.

Not Too Shabby

Those pictures are showing the future MotA headquarters, as I'll be moving in there as well (though not by Wednesday). I guess we'll have to post some pictures once everything is fixed-up, hopefully the difference will be dramatic.

So things have been pretty good lately, all things considered I mean. We celebrated a milestone at work by spending two hours of reserved time on Friday at a place called Miramar Speed Circuit, an indoor go-kart racing arena. It was insane. Those karts are capable of speeds up to 40 mph - I didn't even realize that kind of velocity was actually attainable in vehicles of that size.

We saw CAKE on Saturday at the Del Mar Race Track. We caught their performance, also at the race track, just about a year ago, and my reaction this time around is essentially the same. They are, indeed, a swell band - great to listen to and a lot of fun to watch. If you get a chance, I highly recommend catching one of their shows.

Sorry everyone, due to some technical problems - Justin currently has no Internet access - the comic will be at best a bit late today. I hope we can get something on the web by this afternoon, but I can't actually make any promises on that. Maybe now is a good time to use the RSS feed, or The Webcomic List if you don't already.
