Core Breach Imminent

Why should I have to wait till midnight to post the comic if it's done early? I can make my own decisions, choose my own destiny. I'm a grown boy, why at midnight I'll be 22, the legal age in California for updating webcomics early. This won't be the first time I've broken the rules. Look out! I'm baaad.

Sooo the trip was great fun. They kept us very busy, and even now that we're back I still need to compile my writings and artwork from the trip in a form that they can publish. But work aside, I really miss those people and places. We had very little time to be tourists, constantly being shuttled to meetings with experts on Rembrandt and Shakespeare, getting to see things laymen do not get to see, it really felt like we were important. Up at 8am and each day was a unique experience till 8pm, when we were free to hang out till the wee hours, and do it again the next day. It's hard to be home, I feel like I have so little direction, but I must keep moving.

And I had forgotten how addictive the internet is. Away! Vile machine!

A Post!

I'm trying my best to keep myself away from the Internet. This is, after all, my vacation, and there will be plenty of time to play around on the Internet when I get back, especially in my line of work. That said, it is important to keep up to date on things, posting being one of them.

I'll start by wishing Justin a very happy birthday. Hopefully he's having a great one back at home. Twenty-two is, I'm afraid, nothing special - there's no special priviledges (that I'm aware of) to be gained by reaching the age. But nonetheless it's a good opportunity to celebrate, perhaps even with alcohol (if you're so inclined), so I definitely wish him the best.

As for me, I've been a tourist for the past few days. Seeing the major sights around London: the British Museum, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, etc. All great. We even got to see the inside of the House of Commons. London sightseeing should continue until next week, when we'll (my dad and I) start getting out into the countryside. Hostels aren't really that bad, in fact they're quite nice, pretty much just like hotels. The Tube works very well, and we're definitely getting the hang of it. At any rate, I hope you have a good weekend. Perhaps I'll find time to post on Monday.
