A Good Ice Breaker

I am of course, referring to the sledge hammer. FYI, the quote from the last panel is an allusion to what Jackson said in previous strip. That is all.

That was the Question

I didn't get any correct responses from the challenge I posed to you all last week, so I'm going to spoil your fun and tell you the answer. Sadly, the coveted three cheers won't be bestowed upon any lucky soul anytime soon. The shirt is offered at ThinkGeek, which is probably the standard in nerd apparel. That bit of code quite literally translates to the famous line from Shakespeare's Hamlet, "To be, or not to be". Those of you with a zest for regular expressions can probably appreciate the humor in that. The rest of you can smile, nod slowly, and just move on.

For the first time in one heck of a long time it's rained here in San Diego. Nothing very consistent, in fact I have yet to see a downpour last longer than fifteen minutes straight, but it's definitely a change of pace as well as a change of weather. This is one of those places where it just takes a little rain to make headline news and cause umbrellas to be put on front display in stores. Honestly, I might've been the only person this morning at the university book store buying something other than an umbrella.

I think that last paragraph was a testament to how little I actually have to say today. You know when I start talking about the weather I'm running on empty in terms of actual content. I've started downloading the PC demo for Prince of Persia 2: Warrior Within, which was referenced last week on Penny Arcade. I'm a big fan of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, so I can't wait to see the bountiful prospects of its sequel. Along with Metroid Prime 2, Prince of Persia is sure to be one of the main consumers of my precious free time. I'm certain that if I can get this demo up and running I'll have some comments about it for you, either in the next few days or on Friday.

Yep, it's true. The new Prince of Persia game appears to be quite awesome indeed. I'm having a lot of fun playing the demo when time permits (and sometimes when it doesn't). Anyway, you can safely expect a nice full, voluptuous review on Friday.
