Hallelujah, I finished another page!

But I'm still not working fast enough. I crunched some numbers the other day and if I want to have enough comic to print by APE 2011, I'll have to put out a page every four days. Which is pretty close to the old twice a week update schedule, but these pages are bigger than most of the comics I did back then. I'm having serious doubts that I can pull it off.

PS: I've never played Farmville. Although a lot of my family does.

Yeah, I definitely can't pull that off.

Just wanted to check-in. I'm in my second week of summer classes and it doesn't look like I'll be able to work on the comic again till it's over I'm sorry to say. Since Summer session is so short, the classes are closer together, and so are the deadlines. I'm hoping to get a couple more pages done in August between the end of Summer session and the beginning of Fall. A long wait, I know, but there's just not enough time.

And I've started applying for animation internships. My luck I probably won't get one, but if I do that will mean even less time. It's really a terrible shame that we only have one life to live. There's so many things I'd like to do.

Anyway, if you want to check out my very first demo reel, here it is so far.

Hey guys, just checking in. Summer classes will be wrapping up in the next couple weeks, unfortunately I don't really have anything to show you since I'm not in any animation classes right now. I could show you the animatic I've been working on in the Storyboarding class I'm taking, but it's unfinished and being an animatic is just pre-production work for my thesis animation anyway. Perhaps you'll see it when it's finished. I'll definitely show you guys my thesis animation when that's done, but that's not for another year, year and a half probably.

I'll be visiting San Diego for a good chunk of August, mostly to help my family with things over there, but I'm still hoping to update with a couple pages here. So keep an eye out next month, and as always thanks for sticking around.

Guys, I have to face facts. I haven't had the time to work on the comic at all the past few months, and the workload is just going to get heavier and more demanding as the school-year goes on.

I don't want to put MotA on haitus, but hell, it already is. I need to focus on my schooling if I'm serious about animating as a profession. I still want to see these characters grow, to define their personalities, but now isn't the time.

If you don't hate me and are interested in seeing what it is that's taking up all my time, I've set up a blog at NoOneCaresAboutWhatYouDo.com - to keep me humble and because it makes me laugh. I'm going to try to update it regularly, going to try real hard.
